Biology and chemistry tie into environmental science because they focus on the study of living organisms and what they need to survive and how different things react with their body and their environment.
They tie in because you’re use all those other fields of science to obtain the information necessary to make discoveries. For example, when gaining information about global warming ecology scientists might use chemistry or physics in order to obtain specific information.
The term “natural science” is used to distinguish the subject from the social sciences, which apply the scientific method to study human behavior and social patterns
