  1. Deforestation in china and other countries affects the overall climate of the earth because the “role trees play in transpiration” deforestation can change the climate. This process is when rain falls and the roots of trees absorb it and transpire it into the air as water vapor. When deforestation occurs this process cannot be completed and the overall climate is changed. For example, in 1998 the Yangtze River in china was flooded due to deforestation.
